Users of the Commission
The President established a User Group in October 1998 following a meeting of representatives of the Commission, the then Department of Workplace Relations and Small Business, the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Australian Council of Trade Unions, The Australian Industry Group and the Law Council of Australia, the President, in October 1998, established a User Group.
Two meetings of the User Group were held in 1999-00. The first meeting was held in December 1999 and in May 2000 a further meeting was held to discuss electronic access to the Commission and the Registry via the Internet.
The Commission also conducts a separate User Group dealing with termination of employment matters. This group also held two meetings in the reporting period one in October 1999 and another in June 2000 at which new processes and admisitrative arrangements in Victoria were discussed.
